(Mexico) - A gay Mexican football team is hoping to win a place at the 2007 Gay Soccer World Cup in Argentina. They hope to spread tolerance and social understanding when they compete. Mexico, the world's second largest Catholic country, is still largely closed to homosexuality although one state recently began allowing gay civil unions.
