(DuPage County, IL) - Two Neuqua Valley High School students sued the district Wednesday, alleging administrators there allow pro-homosexuality speech but not speech opposing it. ...Senior Heidi Zamecnik, 17, of Naperville contends that while administrators actively supported the Gay/Straight Alliance student organization in its annual “Day of Silence” event April 19, 2006, she was yanked out of her lunchroom on April 20, 2006, by a dean, Mick Ruettiger, and brought to the office because she was wearing a shirt that read “Be happy, not gay.”
