(Portland, ME) - Someone, somewhere in Maine must have left the lid off a trash can, because the odious followers of Rev. Fred Phelps have threatened to scurry forth from their dens today, to protest at the funeral of a local Marine who was killed in Iraq. The slimy representatives of Kansas' Westboro Baptist Church have given notice to police that they plan to picket Lance Cpl. Angel Rosa's funeral in Portland, Maine. Phelps' extremist anti-gay church has caused controversy all over the country with its protests that push the idea that US military deaths in Iraq are God's way of punishing the US for its 'tolerance' of gay people.
