(MONTREAL, CANADA) - The Montreal Outgames has filed for protection from its creditors while seeking a way out of debt to its suppliers. ``We didn't want to go into bankruptcy,'' Outgames co-chairperson Marielle Dupere said Wednesday. ``We want to pay our suppliers.'' Dupere said she would release a statement Thursday or Friday to explain the manoeuvre. Filing for protection under the federal Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act temporarily protects the Outgames from being forced into bankruptcy or sued for payment.
