(Spain) - A Catholic group has reportedly triggered an investigation by the District Attorney´s office in relation to one of the artistic creations exhibited within the context of the artistic festival TransMarikaBollo (TransFagDyke) in Barcelona in September 2006, on grounds its its supposed offense to religious sentiments. The group Front D´Alliberament Gai de Catalunya considers this accusation to represent an assault against the right of freedom of expression and a threat to artistic and cultural creation and is protesting the investigation.
