Huh. Reason number 231 is "I wanted to reproduce" and reason number 232 is "I/she was ovulating." I would have thought they'd appear higher up -- given all the nonsense spouted about such matters. As it happens, this child-bearing thing appears among the 50 least mentioned reasons in the study. Go figure 
The paper is here (and it's not all that bad, if statistics about sex are your bag).
If you're not all that into "all that reading," then there's a word document with just the list of 237 reasons found in the study. |

| Oh, you must write in at once! (Though download the PDF and read the entire paper first -- they conflated a number of similar responses. Coercion by some supernatural force may well be in there somewhere.) |
