Latest on Bob Allen: Allen pleads not guilty

Quote:
State Rep. Bob Allen (R) has pleaded not guilty to charges he offered an undercover police officer cash for sex.

Allen, a longtime foe of LGBT rights in Florida, was not in court - opting instead to submit his plea in writing.

His attorney is expected to ask a judge on Monday to dismiss the case. If that is unsuccessful, the lawyer said he will submit a motion to have an audio take recording suppressed of an interview Allen gave to police following his arrest.

[...]

If convicted of solicitation Allen could face as much as one year in jail.

Oh? There's a tape of an interview with police? This is new. How imprudent of Mr. Allen. He should have had his attorney present during any 'interviews' with police.

LOL

But Jason Drake is not too different from Jakob.

Clearly, obviously, manifestly, self-evidently there is a diabolical conspiracy of Illuminati-like proportions going on here.

How very lucky we are that the schemers screwed up with that Jason/Jakob thing. Boy, yeah -- they aren't all that different at all. Why, the two names share the first letter and the same vowels, and in the same order (boy howdy you know there's just some sort of significance there). Why, the only thing that's different about the two names is they've gone and swapped an 'S' for a 'K' and an 'N' for a 'B'. How many Coral Sea Dollars would anyone care to bet that this is some sort of clever code? Do the initials 'K.B.' mean anything? Hmmmmmmmm?

Ye gods but I need a drink.

Hmmm...I've been thinking....

I view of the Larry Craig incident and of the many other Republican private parts that keep coming to light...maybe we should start a thread called "Found While Wankering"!

I beg to differ. At the heart of every cat lies a fearsome, loathsome hunter with a killer instinct. Dogs are omnivores, like humans. They'll eat anything...like Mikey. My bf's mother's Shih-Tzu will eat onions, chocolate, anything that will technically kill any other dog or at least cause it to be taken to a veterinary emergency room. She's a canine trash compactor, that one. Mind you, she's got no teeth...only molars. That fact is the result of her incessant chewing on my boyfriend's bathroom slippers. She's banned from my house...but she loves me so...sometimes I just have to give in. And she makes up for the loss of Max.

Ugh! I need another doggy.

A because its a cat and not a dog under that milk crate looking all the world like a glaring Hannibal Lecter.

B because if it were an adorable little doggie under that milk crate, it would never, ever be able to do a passable Hannibal Lecter.... doggies are just too sweet.

C all cats will gladly eat your liver with fava beans and a nice chianti. His Royal Highness Prince Pussy Pussy Pussy Kitty Sweetie (who is very charming and genteel and quite sweet as cats go) makes that very face quite frequently, and we don't even have a milk crate. He will also gladly attempt to eat your liver. Just touch him when he hasn't ordered you to do so and find out. His Highness prefers grenache to chianti, one of the reasons I stick to Saar valley whites (it cuts down on the kitty pilfering).
