No Big Deal: They Were Just Lesbians

Quote:
The dykes had dared to dance in a Long Island straight bar and were subsequently asked to leave by the bar's manager for their inappropriate behavior because it upsetting the bar's straight customers. And boy oh boy, talk about upset!

About 10 to 12 young men and women, including several under-aged teens, followed the lesbians out of the bar and began screaming anti-gay epithets, spitting on the lesbians and then beating them.

The local police have said they are investigating, but have declined to provide details of the incident.

...

When police arrived, several of the attackers were still present, Kurland said, but none were arrested. She said one of the attackers returned to the bar with the stolen video camera the next day, but still no arrest was made.

The emphasis is mine. This is not some town in Jamaica... this is not even some town in Alabama... this is some town on Long Island.

Someone tell me again about how much "progress" we've been making.

Hate crime charged in "Top Chef" attack

Quote:
A homeless man was charged with participating in an anti-gay attack on a former "Top Chef" reality show contestant outside a bar, police said.

Matthew W. Walli was in a group of about 12 people involved in a confrontation with chef Josie Smith-Malave, who is a lesbian, and three other women who had just been thrown out of the bar over Labor Day weekend, Nassau County police said Thursday.

...

Walli, 20, was arrested Wednesday afternoon. He was charged with robbery as a bias crime, which is punishable by as many as 15 years in prison upon conviction, and was to be arraigned Thursday, police said.

Lest one get the really quite peculiar idea that this means the Nassau County police are actually doing something about this case... note the circumstances under which this fellow was arrested.

Quote:
Matthew W. Walli, 20, turned himself in to authorities Thursday and, after giving testimony about the Sept. 1 incident, was arrested on a charge of second-degree robbery, said Nassau County, N.Y., police Detective Lt. Kevin Smith.

Well, see it this way: some good kids, future mothers and fathers and pillars of community, simply wanted to discuss moral values issues with a gang of Lesbians, who previously have rampaged in a bar. Those lesbians apparently do not like healthy teenagers and Christians and thus have started all those troble. They must be happy they were not arrested themselves.

So, or nearly so, the brave police officers would have interpreted the story, I guess.

Lesbian Assaulted in East Tawas Hotel - Protest Planned!

Quote:
Angie Potter was enjoying her stay at the Tawas Bay Beach Resort during a women’s softball tournament the weekend of September 7. That is, until an anti-lesbian thug who was also staying at the hotel grabbed her throat, leaving marks, while Angie was trying to enjoy her evening.

The hotel didn’t even call the police; Angie’s friend had to do that nearly an hour after the attack. When Angie found out her attacker was still staying at the hotel and asked the hotel management to do something to help her feel safe, Angie was told that she should leave.
