Nice to see Ryan Phillippe can still make a hottie list
I am well-pleased -- my reputation for shallow piggishness is intact: Not only did I know a great many of the listed fellows by name, I knew even more of them only by sight (because really, what function would their name serve other than to distract me?).
Ahh... man-flesh... if the folks at AfterElton and Logo are going to be compiling illustrated lists of hotties, I may just have to stop ignoring them. |

And one of my quirky faves even made the list (#99)... Seth Green |

This claims to be "Movie Hunks of August" (with pics) but on dial-up the link keeps crapping out w/o displaying the pics*.
My question is... is it really? (I am asking Professional Opinions here, lads...)
* (it happens a lot with that site for me; I'm wondering if my pop-up blocker has something to do with that...?) |

The site loads remarkably slowly, even on DSL. It's likely that it's just "timing out."
Matt Damon ... meh. He's not aging well, but he doesn't hurt the eyes one bit.
Henry Cavill ... Yah. I DID NOT miss the Tudors on Showtime. He did NOT steal the show's main source of sex-appeal out from under Jonathan Rhys-Meyers -- he contributed admirably to what was a well-decorated set.
Daniel Craig ... sure -- why not?
Jason Statham ... ummmmmmm -- there IS an audience for this fellow. Really, there is. They must live elsewhere though.
Ryan Reynolds ... oh my, yes -- "strawberries and a bucket of ice" sounds like just the ticket for his next screening.
All in all, I would say that (in my professional opinion) the list IS reasonably of "hunks" (assuming that broad definitions of the word 'hunk' are advisable for a large audience, which is what this site hopes for). |

Quote:
Fire officials poured water yesterday on the wildly popular calendar featuring the department's hunkiest hunks after a video featuring this cover boy waving his God-given hose began making the rounds of gay porn sites.
"We will no longer be participating in this. There will be no more calendars," said FDNY spokesman Francis Gribbon.
The embarrassing video of 22-year-old firefighter Michael Biserta of Brooklyn's Ladder Co. 131 and his enormous member is featured in the 2004 Joe Francis-produced DVD "Guys Gone Wild." The video clip began to circulate when Biserta appeared on the 2008 calendar that went on sale this week.
From here.
I will save you from going to that rag, the NY Post for a look at Mr. Biserta --
(Unfortunately, a google search turns up nothing...) |

I don't know that I would call the video clip in question "embarrassing." Awkward might be a better word for it. Mr. Biserta should consider working with professional videographers who do not make such a coy product -- I suspect it will pay better. |
