PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS:
You should be alert during the next days: Do not open any message with an attached file called "Invitation" regardless of who sent it, It is a virus that opens an Olympic Torch which "burns" the whole hard disc of your computer.. This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list, that is why you should send this e-mail to all your contacts. It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.
If you receive a mail called "invitation", though sent by a friend, do not open it and shut down your computer immediately.
This is the worst virus announced by CNN, it has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.
SEND THIS E- MAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW , COPY THIS E-MAIL AND SEND IT TO YOUR FRIENDS AND REMEMBER: IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US.
***BUT***
Read THIS!
It may be a hoax. |

Oh, it's a hoax all right -- so says McAfee (you know, those folks who supposedly 'discovered' it in the first place). Variants of the e-mail even have the cheek to claim that snopes.com and/or Hoax-Slayer.com have confirmed it -- which is completely untrue. Both sites say it is a hoax as well.
Naturally, not all viruses are hoaxes -- the things do exist. There's just not anything worth all the drama floating about these days.
Should someone feel the irrepressible urge to "SEND THIS E- MAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW," then try detailing the ways in which you love and value them instead.
Personally, I'm not all that amused by days with more than about 5 mail messages, regardless of their contents. |

You must be joking. The whole bunch of 5 e-mails being your limit? I receive up to 40 e-mails daily, mostly offering new furniture, viagra, penis enlargement, russian girls looking for a husband, provision for a million-dollar transfer action over my private bank account on behalf of a widow of Mr XY former director of Bank of Nigeria... the list is endless. |

LOL.... I get as many as 40 e-mails (if not many, many more) every day as well. It seems a good third of them are warning me against buying "fake pills" and another third are exhorting me to buy them anyway because they're real! And then there's all the ridiculous offers for $500 gift certificates at this store or that shop. I definitely get plenty of e-mail -- I'm just not amused at all by it. |
