Joaquín Bermudez Leal
Quote:
Police in Norway on Tuesday found the body of a missing Spanish doctor who disappeared from his apartment in Oslo in January. Joaquín Bermudez Leal's body parts were discovered in a bay that had been snow covered.
Leal, 49, had been working as the Chief of Pathology in the Radium Hospital in Oslo since 1999. When he failed to show up for work the hospital notified police.
At his home police discovered large amounts of blood but no sign of Leal. Days later a man driving Leal's car was detained by police.

An investigator working on the case said authorities believe Leal was murdered in his home and his body was then dismembered and disposed of.

The 37 year old suspect has denied killing Leal. He is being held without bail as the investigation proceeds.
