I'd like to bring along a very good friend of mine to this site. Actually, he's my very best friend, and a lot like me...that's why he's my best friend...I'm a lil narcisistic that way...LOL. No, seriously, how do I go about bring him in. I think this boy's a good candidate for GRD. he's insightrful, bright, and a bit of a pedantic twit.

But while I'm at it...a "refer a friend" feature would be awesome. You know...something where you can forward an official visa to the Republic with registration info and link. Who do I blow to get it done?

Oh, while I'm at it...I notice there's no quick links to get you back to the GRD main page once you've entered the forums (fora?). Or have I overlooked the links?

There's a link in the header at the top of the page, where it lists (in thecase of this thread): "Gay Republic Daily Forum Index >> General Category >> Office"...
If you click on any segment of that (ie: "Gay Republic Daily Forum Index" OR "General Category" OR "Office"), it will take you to the corresponding level of the forum(s).
I hope that was clear enough.

Rain's talking about the GRD news page, methinks.
We're still working on what the ultimate form this forum shall be. In the current trial version there is such a link at the top of the page.
You'll find that forum quite a lot like this one (at least they were identical back when the experiment was initiated). Everyone who is registered here is registered there, with the same passwords and everything

Me. This thread is the right place to post your wishes -- they are noticed. However, I must advise you not to expect much from me experimenting with the script. Sometimes adding the requested functionality goes easy, sometimes (more often) it's simply beoyound my skills.

Don't know if you guys have noticed, but now one can return from the forum to the main GRD site by simply clicking on the "Gay Republic Daily" in the header part. This one went easy.
