(Albany, NY) - Score one for the ultra-secret Gay Elders of Zion: a little more than a week after former NBA star and Albany Patroons basketball coach Michael Richardson let fly with homophobic slurs (and called Jews 'crafty') during an interview, he's getting fired. The owners of the Patroons decided that they didn't need to headaches, and announced today that they won't renew the bigot's contract.
