(New York City) - ACT UP is still alive. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the activist group this week, protesters thronged Wall Street and laid out symbolic corpses representing the 50 people who die of AIDS everyday. The action was a re-enactment of the group's first protest, complete with arrests. Yesterday's rally was also meant to be a call for a single-payer health care system in the US.
