Quickie Link: Anniversary Is Dangerous For Gay Palestinians

(Israel) - There's only one gay Palestinian group in Israel, and none on the West Bank. The activists who formed that group, ASWAT, want to celebrate its fifth anniversary with a gathering in Haifa tomorrow. Trouble is, no one can guarantee group members' safety, as radical Jewish sects ally once again with fundamentalist Muslim groups to try to stop the proceedings.
